Subject: Bike & Scooter Safety Presentations
Dear Hornet Families,
On October 8th, Bike/Walk Central Florida (https://bikewalkcentralflorida.org/) will visit our P.E. classes to give a Bike & Scooter Safety presentation.
Many of our students use scooters, e-bikes, and bikes to get to school or around the neighborhood. They’re also considered vehicles, so students need to know how to ride safely and follow traffic laws.
The presentation covers:
- Essential traffic laws and safe riding practices
- How to ride lawfully, predictably, and courteously
- Helmet safety
- Tips for staying alert and visible
If you would like your student to opt out of this presentation, please complete this form. Parent opt-out form
